Bill will deliver a 90 minute audio-visual talk loosely entitled "The Creative Musician in a Commercial World", based around his recent autobiography.
The talk will draw on plenty of archive footage* from Bill’s 41-year career. Books will be available for purchase and signing on December 1st, 7th, and 8th. There will be no hands-on drumming.

The lineup will include more than 120 events on twelve stages featuring many of the world's best musicians on drumset, orchestral percussion, keyboard, world percussion, marching and more. Confirmed artists and presenters will be announced in July.
Wednesday's Focus Day schedule has been revamped. This year, PASIC will open with a Wednesday 8:00pm evening Focus Day concert themed "Ecology of Percussion." Wednesday's daytime Focus Day programming has been moved to Thursday with a series of concerts beginning at 9:00am.
The convention's International Drum and Percussion Expo takes place Nov. 11-13 with more than 115 exhibitors showcasing the latest in percussion instruments, gear, publications and services.
The nationally recognized PASIC Marching Percussion Festival also takes place during the convention. This indoor festival features a competition of high school and collegiate drumlines and solo performers vying for top honors.

A Drumteacher's Event April in New York
Hudson Music and Drummers Collective Teachers Event April 11th 2010
On Sunday April 11th the Drummers Collective in New York City will team up with Hudson Music's Teacher Integration Program to present a full day of seminars, clinics and master classes tailored specifically for drumset teachers. Beginning at 9:30 a.m. and running until approximately 5:00 p.m., this is a rare opportunity to learn from and interact with many of the leading teachers and players of today. Attendance is very limited.
Presentations by Tommy Igoe, Dom Famularo, Jeff Salem, Collective instructors Jason Gianni and Pete Retzlaff, as well as a lesson on the real Gladstone Technique by Arnie Lang.

> -Global perspectives and trends

Percussive Arts Society PAS Weekend of Percussion in New York
PAS makes it New York with a nice lineup of percussionists, Its free and will happen over the course of the weekend. looking forward to Gordon Gottlieb, Chris Lamb, SHe-e Wu today, and the concert takes place at 7pm. Hitting the Studio with Taye
Recording an album at electroluxe studio in brooklyn this weekend, looking forward to recording these new set of Tayes, the studio maple series kit has been sounding great. haven't heard resonance like this since the Ayotte early line. will have some tracks to post soon, so all can check out the results. if you have any drum samples of your studio session send them our way!
